Concrete Patio, Fire Pit, Sod & Turf Projects in Aurora, CO

Aurora is big, and so is the range of yards we work on: narrow lots in established neighborhoods, family backyards with mature trees, and brand-new homes on the east side. Here are four recent projects our crew completed in Aurora: a concrete patio with a seat wall and fire pit table, a large concrete patio with new sod, a new-home patio with block walls, and a curved synthetic turf lawn.

1. Concrete Patio, Seat Wall & Fire Pit Table

This home had a long, narrow backyard wrapping around the side of the house. We poured a concrete patio that runs the full length of the yard, built a curved block seat wall around the planting beds under the trees, and added a stone fire pit table near the back door. Along the narrow side yard, synthetic turf and gray rock replaced a strip of patchy grass, with a separate patio for the dining table at the far end.

2. Large Concrete Patio & New Sod

The homeowners wanted room for a grill, a table and a gathering space, plus a real lawn for the kids. We poured a large concrete patio across the back of the house with a step down to the yard, then laid fresh sod around the big shade tree, with river rock borders along the fence.

3. New-Home Patio, Walls & Xeriscape

This new ranch home backs onto a trail. We poured a concrete patio off the covered porch with steps down, built a block retaining wall along the foundation with a concrete walk beside it, and finished the yard with rock and water-wise plants inside the new metal fence.

4. Curved Synthetic Turf Lawn

This backyard had a raised patio and not much else that stayed green. We installed a curved synthetic turf lawn in front of the patio with a river rock border all around it, so the yard looks neat year-round without watering or mowing.
